Where M10 fits — and where it doesn't

Use M10 for
- Plain concrete footings (PCC) under compound walls
- Garage and outhouse floor slabs (no rebar)
- Pathways and small driveways
- Bedding for kerbs, kerb-channels, and inspection chambers
- Lean concrete fill where mild load is anticipated
Don't use M10 for
- Reinforced concrete (RCC) of any kind
- Slabs or beams with embedded steel
- Structural columns
How we batch M10
M10 sits in the IS 456 ordinary-concrete band along with M7.5 and M15, but with higher compressive strength than M7.5. It is the default choice for plain (unreinforced) concrete elements that need to carry their own weight plus light surface loads.
Every dispatch from our Mallavarappadu and Gundlapalli plants includes a batch slip with mix proportions and a 28-day cube test report — generated from the same load you receive. M10 is delivered in transit mixers and placed either by direct chute discharge or by line pump for upper-floor slabs, columns, and pours the truck can't reach. For projects above 50,000 m³, we can set up a dedicated batching plant on your site with a project-specific mix design and on-site QC lab.
