Terms & conditions
Standard terms for the supply of ready-mix concrete and crushed aggregates.
Last updated: 25 May 2026
These terms govern all quotations, orders, and supplies made by Global Readymix, Global Readymix Concrete, and Global Metals (together, "the Supplier") to any customer ("the Buyer") through this website or otherwise. They apply unless the Supplier has agreed different terms in a signed contract for a specific project. Submitting an order or accepting a delivery is treated as acceptance of these terms.
1. Definitions
- Concrete — ready-mix concrete (RMC) batched at the Supplier's plants at Mallavarappadu and Gundlapalli, conforming to IS 456:2000 and IS 10262:2019.
- Aggregates — crushed stone, manufactured sand (Robo Sand), Wet Mix Macadam, Granular Sub-Base, and crusher dust produced at the Supplier's Chimakurthy crusher.
- On-site batching — the deployment of a dedicated batching plant on the Buyer's project site, as separately agreed.
- Order — a confirmed instruction from the Buyer to supply, evidenced by a purchase order, written confirmation (including WhatsApp / email), or, for small orders, an advance payment.
2. Scope of services
The Supplier supplies ready-mix concrete and crushed aggregates, and may, on separate agreement, supply on-site batching plants for large projects. The Supplier is a supplier of materials and does not provide structural design, installation, or contracting services unless expressly agreed in writing.
3. Quotations
All quotations are valid for the period stated on the quote (typically 7–14 days) and are subject to availability of material, plant capacity, and the prevailing cost of cement and fuel. Quotations are inclusive or exclusive of GST as stated; if not stated, GST is in addition to the quoted price.
Final pricing is confirmed at the time of order. Material rates may be revised between quotation and order in the event of a material change in cement, fuel, or input costs.
4. Orders, scheduling and lead time
- For confirmed orders placed by 4 PM on the previous working day, the Supplier targets dispatch within the agreed window. Same-day orders are accommodated subject to plant availability — typically within 2–3 hours of confirmation.
- The Buyer is responsible for confirming site readiness (access, pump availability, formwork) before dispatch. The Supplier may refuse dispatch if site conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for transit-mixer access.
- Delays caused by site readiness, waiting at the gate, or queueing at the pour point beyond the standing allowance may attract additional charges.
5. Payment terms
- Standard payment terms are advance for one-off / first-time customers, and as separately agreed (typically 7–30 days) for established account customers.
- Accepted modes: bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS), cheque on a scheduled bank, and cash up to limits permitted under Indian income-tax law. UPI is accepted for small balance payments subject to confirmation.
- GST at the prevailing rate is charged in addition to the base price. GST credit is passed to the Buyer through the tax invoice in the normal way.
- Title to the material passes to the Buyer on delivery (for concrete) or on loading at the crusher (for aggregates). The risk of damage or loss passes at the same point.
6. Delivery — concrete
- Concrete is delivered to the Buyer's site by the Supplier's transit mixers, accompanied by a batch slip identifying the mix design, time of batching, and target delivery time.
- A standard standing allowance applies at site. Beyond that, demurrage may be charged per the rate communicated at order confirmation.
- If the Buyer rejects a load on arrival, the Buyer must do so at the gate before the mixer is discharged; rejection after discharge is not accepted.
7. Aggregates — ex-works only
Aggregates are currently sold ex-works at the Supplier's Chimakurthy crusher. The Buyer arranges its own tippers (or hires from a local transporter — the Supplier can suggest options but does not engage transporters on the Buyer's behalf). Loading takes 8–12 minutes per vehicle.
The Supplier does not currently run a direct transport service for aggregates. This may be reintroduced in future; at that time, separate terms will apply.
8. Quality, testing and rejections
- Concrete conforms to the specified mix grade per IS 456:2000 and IS 10262:2019. A 28-day cube test report is provided for every dispatch on request, from the same load.
- Aggregates conform to IS 383:2016 for coarse aggregate and manufactured fine aggregate; WMM and GSB conform to the relevant MoRT&H clauses.
- Any quality complaint must be raised within 7 days of delivery / loading, in writing, with the relevant batch slip or load slip. Complaints raised after material has been placed, compacted, or covered, or after the 7-day window, will be examined but cannot in most cases be reasonably substantiated and may be rejected.
- If quality is independently confirmed not to meet specification, the Supplier's liability is limited to the price paid for the affected material — see clause 11.
9. Cancellation
- Orders may be cancelled without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled dispatch / loading time.
- For cancellations within 24 hours, a cancellation charge may apply to cover plant scheduling, mix-design preparation, and logistics. The exact amount depends on the order size and will be communicated when the cancellation is acknowledged.
- Refunds of advance payments are processed within 7 working days of cancellation, net of any applicable cancellation charges.
10. Force majeure
The Supplier is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to: cyclones and severe monsoon weather, floods, plant breakdown despite reasonable maintenance, fuel or cement supply shortages, strikes, civil unrest, road closures, and compliance with government orders. In such cases the Supplier will notify the Buyer at the earliest practicable time and dispatch as soon as the cause is cleared.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Supplier's total liability arising out of or in connection with any order, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is limited to the price paid by the Buyer for the affected material. The Supplier is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses — including but not limited to project delay costs, loss of profit, loss of contract, or loss of reputation.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
12. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or an order made under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ongole, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh. Parties will attempt to resolve any dispute by good-faith discussion before commencing proceedings.
