Crusher dust — the 0 – 6 mm fine fraction that comes off the crusher screens as a by-product. An economical material for backfill, paver-block manufacture, and levelling work where IS 383-graded sand is over-spec.
About Crusher Dust
Un-graded by-product of stone crushing. Particle distribution is biased toward the fine end (0 – 4.75 mm), with up to 15 – 20% silt depending on the source rock. Not certified to IS 383 — sold as a utility / fill material, not as a concrete-spec fine aggregate.
Where Crusher Dust fits — and where it doesn't
